Nicholas Gabriel is a Faculty Member of the William Glasser Institute (International & Singapore). He is a Developmental Psychologist, specializing in Youth Development – “youth” is defined as those persons between the ages of 12 and 25 years. He is also a Registered Psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society, and an approved Supervisor. He is an International Affiliate of the Australian Psychological Society
For seventeen years now, his work with youth has gone to countries like Vietnam, India and Australia; and places like the Prisons, Boys’ Home, Faith-Based Organizations, Schools and Community Homes. Whilst working with youths, Nicholas Gabriel works with stakeholders, like teachers, parents, youth workers, social workers, counselors, doctors and government agencies extensively. Nicholas has tremendous amount of experience working with youths from diverse backgrounds and the relevant stakeholders.
Nicholas is the Co-Founder of the Youth Work Association (Singapore). He is currently also a member of the Youth Division of the National Council for Problem Gambling. NCPG Youth advises the Singapore Government on research, trends and developments pertaining to problem gambling relating to youth, and appropriate policy responses; and specifically under the youth division, develops youth awareness and education programmes relating to gambling.
Nicholas is an active member in the grassroots, and enjoys volunteering for good causes, especially relating to adolescents and families. In his free time, he enjoys reading a good book, watching a good movie, and spending time with his family.
